Giant Media combines proprietary technology and IBM Watson to read, understand and interpret the content and context of hundreds-of-millions videos, which helps buyers to get closer to the audiences they want to reach.

Giant Media’s team of account managers, engineers, data scientists, designers, operations specialists and marketing experts are experts at creating unique and innovative video advertising solutions for brands and agencies alike by using exclusive targeting that is data-centric and brand safe. Brand advertisers such as Capital One, Heineken, Toyota and many more have had success with our comprehensive cross-format video solutions.

We’re expanding our senior team and are adding a VP, Sales. This role will be based in New York City and will report to the CEO.

What will you do?
The Giant Media team is looking for an experienced and high-energy VP, Sales to bring our latest ad targeting product to market. The primary function of this role is to use this new product to establish enterprise-level relationships with agencies and brand clients. Primary responsibilities include:

Sales Effectiveness – Establish high-level partnerships with brands and agency holding companies and continuously deliver sales results to raise the bar. Attend conferences, work leads generated from the executive team, own the sales cycle to ensure constant learning and improvement.

Go-to-Market Sales Strategy - Working with the executive team, provide input for a successful and scalable business development strategy for bringing a new data product to market and establishing relationships with agency holding companies. Execute against this strategy and achieve milestones for relationship growth.

Leadership and Employee Development - manage the East Coast Sales team including sales support, develop sales and quota goals and mentor sales staff. 

Pipeline Management – Effectively manage your current and future sales pipeline using various tools including Salesforce and

Successful Achievement of Revenue Goals - Secure large-scale agreements and budgets from client base and build upon those relationships to drive further revenue growth.  Revenue growth includes East Coast Sales team.

What are we looking for?

The successful candidate will be an inspiring and confident sales executive with at least: 

  • 10+ years recent experience working at a digital media company, video / ad tech platform and / or digital agency
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in a client-facing role, focused on bringing new products to market, establishing new business opportunities and developing partnerships
  • Proven track record of establishing high-level agreements with brands and agency holding companies
  • Experience and success with video, social and/or branded content campaigns preferred
  • Competent with Microsoft Office Suite, Salesforce and various prospecting tools
  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience
